Germany, Imperial. A Rare Silver Grade Wound Badge, Screwback Variant, by Otto Schickle Buy Now puncturing a tire(Verwundetenabzeichen in Silber). Constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central raised Stahlhelm on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a central threaded lug retaining a replacement washer, unmarked but demonstrating the characteristics of a variant produced by Otto Schickle, Pforzheim, c. 1925, measuring 38. 54 mm (w) x 43. 48 mm
